Senior Membership Waitlist

Chester Golf Club is currently at membership capacity and, in accordance with the Club’s Bylaws, maintains a waitlist for prospective Senior Members.

Waitlist Privacy

As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting personal information and complying with applicable privacy requirements, the Club no longer publishes the membership waitlist in public locations, including the Clubhouse and on the Club website.

Individuals currently on the waitlist may obtain information regarding their status by contacting Member Services & Administration.

The Membership Committee periodically reviews the waitlist to confirm applicants’ continued interest and suitability for membership consideration in accordance with the Club’s Bylaws and membership policies in effect at the time membership opportunities become available.

Membership Waitlist Cap

The Board of Directors has approved a cap of 150 applicants on the Club’s membership waitlist.

Following a review of membership demand, annual intake levels, and projected wait times, the Board determined that continuing to accept applications beyond this level would not be in the best interests of either prospective applicants or the Club.

As the current waitlist exceeds the approved threshold, the Club has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new Senior Membership applications.

Individuals who wish to be notified when applications reopen may request to be added to an Expression of Interest Contact List by emailing memberservices@chestergolfclub.ca and providing their name, telephone number, and email address.

Please note that the Expression of Interest Contact List:

• Is not a waitlist;
• Does not establish priority or sequence of admission;
• Does not guarantee the opportunity to apply for membership; and
• Is maintained solely for communication purposes.

The Club will continue to monitor waitlist levels and will advise when applications reopen.
